Prepacked Sand Screens

Add a layer of protection against erosion

When conventional gravel packing is not feasible or economical, our prepacked sand screens provide a cost-effective sand control alternative with added erosion protection. They can be used used as stand-alone screens without a gravel pack, but their traditional use has been in long, horizontal openhole wells and cased holes that are difficult to completely gravel pack. The prepacked screens help ensure sand control integrity by providing extra protection against erosional forces and voids during production.

Each of these screens is built with a layer of resin-coated, consolidated gravel placed around it, contained by a second screen or outer shroud.
