Chakib Sbiti is the executive vice president for Schlumberger Oilfield Services, the world's leading oilfield services company supplying technology, information solutions and integrated project management that optimize reservoir performance for customers working in the oil and gas industry. In this role Sbiti manages all operations and technology development for Schlumberger worldwide.
Following a series of field, technical and managerial assignments in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Europe, Sbiti became president of the Schlumberger Middle East & Asia Area.
Born in Morocco, Sbiti graduated with a Master's degree from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs in Caen, France, before joining Schlumberger as a field engineer in 1981.
