It has come to our attention that fraudulent offers are being sent via e-mail by persons claiming to be from the Schlumberger Foundation.
In the e-mail, recipients are told that they have been selected as the recipient of a sum of money from the Schlumberger Foundation.
These communications are fraudulent.
They do not originate from Schlumberger.
They are a scam.
There are two quick ways to recognize a fraudulent offer:
Schlumberger will never ask for any payment as part of the foundation grant process; not for immigration documents, insurance, or any other purpose.
Schlumberger does not use e-mails to make foundation offers prior to a formal interview process.
If you receive a fraudulent proposal, we advise you to delete the e-mail and under no circumstances make contact with the individuals sending these emails. If you have contacted any of these individuals or have incurred a financial loss - we urge you to contact your local police with this information.
