Carbon Services—Site Assessment
One of the first phases in a project is screening and selecting sites for CO2 storage. In this initial stage, we review available data for a preliminary characterization of the geological structures and their properties. To complement existing data we may acquire additional information from
- regional and local geological surveys
- exploration seismic surveys
- wireline logs and fluid samples
- laboratory measurements
- field experiments.
Our site-specific screening methodology also considers other more general social, economic, and environmental criteria.
