Carbon Services—Detailed Site Characterization
After a site is selected, extensive subsurface characterization establishes whether the reservoir meets geological and other requirements for long-term storage of CO2.
We build high-resolution geologic models to assess reservoir capacity, injectivity, and containment criteria. With geochemical and geomechanical processes taken into account, these models simulate scenarios for injection rates, fluid displacement, CO2 trapping, and containment performance.
Our geosciences experts integrate interpretations from these and other sources to evaluate storage performance, monitoring, and mitigation strategies.
