Crosswell resistivity imaging system
The DeepLook-EM enhanced crosswell electromagnetic (EM) system expands the scale of resistivity logging from the near-wellbore environment to reservoir monitoring. Formation resistivity can be directly measured between wells up to 1,000 m [3,280 ft] apart, depending on well and reservoir conditions. Decision making guided by DeepLook-EM interwell resistivity images avoids the errors introduced by interpolating single-well data and benefits from greater detail than seismic surveys can obtain.
Understand fluid distribution and predict movement with critical crosswell information:
- monitor fluid fronts from water and steam injection
- evaluate sweep efficiency and identify bypassed pay
- optimize reservoir simulation.
