A project scope includes the generation of a completely new subsurface model and a field redevelopment plan. Responsibility, accountability and alignment
In many of these rehabilitation projects Schlumberger enters into a risk-reward contract with the asset owner whereby part or all of the service compensation is risked against project or production performance. It is common for payment to be linked to incremental oil production. This alignment mechanism provides assurance and accountability that engineering plans put forward during the field redevelopment planning phase are realized during execution. There is no better alignment of owner and service company.
