Analyzing Multiphase Flow in Horizontal and Deviated Wells
Production logging can now be done in horizontal and deviated wellbores. A new tool with five minispinners measures a flow profile across the wellbore diameter, and phase probes indicate the whether the flow is oil, gas, or water. This article includes application of the new tool in several fields.
