Reservoir property mapping service interprets and maps reservoir properties derived by extension of the static and dynamic inversion. A lithology property cube is used to identify and map lithologies according to their acoustic signatures and probability distributions, determined through rock physics modeling of well data. Acoustic, elastic, and petrophysical data from the wellbore are used in rock physics modeling, interpretation, and mapping of reservoir properties derived by extension of the static and dynamic inversion.

ISIS lithology cube
The ISIS lithology cube contains lithology and fluid prediction based on seismic data. The method utilizes inversion of AVO attribute seismic data. The AVO attribute seismic data are inverted to physical properties. The well log data are used as learning data for prediction of rock properties from the AVO inversion results. As the seismic data have been converted to physical properties by the AVO inversion, it is simple to use general rock physics knowledge in the rock property prediction. The Lithology Cube method is demonstrated on a sandstone reservoir where the sand and shale are separated and the fluid content of the reservoir is divided into gas, oil and water. Furthermore, the uncertainty in the rock property prediction is quantified.
