MetaCarta version 4.0 provides a new interface that makes user interaction even easier.
MetaCarta version 4.0 offers a wide range of new capabilities and features-the Geographic Data Module (GDM) now incorporates French and Russian geotagging functionalities, and Australian and Spanish street addresses have been added
to the GDM's names with locations, increasing indexing possibilities.
The new Query Parser API takes a query with mixed geography and keyword search and returns the most likely combination of location and keyword search. This capability, together with the enhanced English, Arabic, and Spanish GDM and the IHS global oil and gas GDM available in MetaCarta V 4.0 helps the user to refine his search and obtain the best results.
The user interface is even easier to navigate, and allows the user to select layers and multiple map sources. The new interface style includes:
