Managed, on-line gas lift monitoring, diagnosis and optimization

Avocet Gas Lift Manager is an integrated management system that allows for continuous, optimized well tuning to deliver optimal levels of gas lift injection and production.

Data integration from the field to headquarters
Avocet Gas Lift Manager can acquire and integrate data from virtually any data source. Data can be automatically gathered on a predefined schedule from SCADA/Historian-type systems, flat files or operational data stores and databases. Data conditioning and quality checking is performed during data acquisition, making cleansed and valid data available for use by other processes or workflows.

Predefined workflows - adjustable for every operation to meet your needs. Crucially, these workflows are designed to make use of real-time data for analysis to enable true fast-loop optimization based on on-line data. All pre-defined and user defined workflows can be executed automatically on a schedule.

  • Automated Gas Lift Diagnostics are used to identify underperforming wells and gas lift completion workover candidates. Diagnostics can be run on single or multiple wells.
  • Automated Gas Lift Optimization enables true on-line gas lift optimization. The workflow detects well status changes from SCADA and updates it in the associated well or network model.
  • Dynamic Well Model Updates is a pre-defined workflow to update PIPESIM well models. It automatically collects and displays well test data and validates tests for future reference.
Results visualization
The surveillance of incoming data and the retrieved results can be run continuously. Detailed optimization workflow results are delivered visually, in tabular or graphical formats. The resulting set points can be published back to the operator, displayed in any remote engineering desktop or displayed using a Web client that displays alarms and key performance indicators (KPI's).
