SIS Breakthrough Performance Center—Innovation Lab
The Innovation Lab is a significant component of the SIS Breakthrough Performance Center.
Innovation is fundamental to Schlumberger. Our work as a company is underpinned by well-established values that focus on people and technology. SIS fuels innovation through industry collaboration, through our strong relationships with customers, industry partners and universities and through our open development platform.
The SIS Breakthrough Performance Center offers Schlumberger's clients and partners the industry's first Innovation Lab, a live collaborative environment to create and test new solutions in multiple operating environments. The Innovation Lab will provide a "sneak preview" of emerging technology and allow SIS Customers and partners to test solutions before bringing them to market in the oil and gas industry.
The SIS Innovation Lab is a place where we can examine key challenges we face as an industry on a daily basis; how to innovate, how to stay ahead, and how to gain and sustain competitive advantage.
The Innovation Lab at the SIS Breakthrough Performance Center as a venue to create and test integrated customer workflows requiring deployment of newly created or introduced software plug-ins, integration technologies, products and services, optimizing their value to SIS and our customers.
Applications
- Create new solutions using integrated software plug-ins
- Create and test cross-product workflows or new hardware configurations
- Test major project deployments in pilot phases
- Leverage Innovation Lab facilities (software, hardware) & resources to execute complex workflows requiring state-of-the-art integration technologies
- Collaborate with SIS, OFS, Technology and Ocean development partners to create and test innovative new solutions
