The PhaseSampler multiphase fluid sampling and analysis system enables PVT quality samples of multiphase fluids to be captured at line conditions, directly from the flowline. The data provide immediate information at the wellsite about key fluid properties and can be used with PhaseTester portable multiphase well testing equipment to increase the certainty of flow rate measurements.

Isolate fluids as they flow

The system's innovative inline design eliminates the need to take samples from an additional separator. This feature saves operators valuable time and space at the wellsite. A novel, three-probe sampler device isolates individual phases as they flow. Optical technology confirms the collection of the phases in a segregating chamber. As a result, representative fluid samples are captured at thermodynamic equilibrium, and accurate line pressure and temperature conditions are preserved.

Test challenging fluids

PhaseSampler services address the demands of testing the most challenging multiphase fluids, including gas condensates, heavy oils and foams. Operators can test wells with high rates of oil or gas flow and accommodate slug, mist, and other complex flows.
