A Multiphase Flowmeter for Improved Well Diagnostics

Designed for easy deployment, the PhaseTester portable multiphase periodic well testing equipment provides solutions-oriented services that cover the entire well testing process, from design to reservoir interpretation. Schlumberger offers service components to match the needs of each job, including site-specific safety analysis, wellsite operations, well test reporting, well data analysis, and production diagnosis. With minimal footprint and onsite installation needs, the PhaseTester service reduces the cost per well tested through efficiency and simplified logistics.

The PhaseTester units with Vx multiphase well testing technology have excellent dynamic response to fluctuating flows, require little or no stabilization time, and are not affected by complex flow regimes such as slug flow, foam, or emulsion environments. The PhaseTester system requires no process control because it is insensitive to changes in flow rate, phase holdup, and pressure regime.

Because the PhaseTester system takes accurate and repeatable measurements with little or no stabilization time, as many as three wells can be tested per day on a typical production station.
