The PX feature places thermally stable diamond inserts (TSP) on the gauge to maximize gauge retention and extend bit life.

Unique ridge shape cutter geometry enables improved rock cutting efficiency through a combination of shearing and crushing actions. This provides higher instantaneous ROP with the same drilling parameters applied, compared to conventional PDC cutter geometry.

The center location of the Stinger conical diamond in the bit enhances its stability to mitigate whirl and other artifacts that waste energy and reduce ROP. The Stinger element also provides an efficient mechanism to drill the very center of the borehole.

Low Exposure (MDOC – Managed Depth Of Cut) Cutter backing raised to minimize excessive depth of cut because of formation heterogeneity to reduce cutter loading and minimize torque in transitional drilling. Minimizes cutter breakage and extends bit life.

Increased cleaning, cooling, and cuttings evacuation with available hydraulic flows; high flow rates with minimal increase in pump pressure, and reduced risk a bit balling.
