1. I have not registered.
Schlumberger premium content is currently available to our oilfield exploration and production clients, government, university, and E&P consultants. Learn more about the benefits and type of premium content available.

2. How do I register?
Registration is quick and easy. You need a valid oilfield exploration and production client, government, university, or E&P consultant e-mail address. If you use another type of address, such as hotmail.com or yahoo.com, your registration will be reviewed by one of our registration coordinators. A coordinator will contact you directly to verify your registration information.

3. What is a verification code?
The system generates a random key, which we call a verification code, and it is used to verify your e-mail address. When you click to activate your account we cross check your verification code with the one on our system.

4. I didn't receive an activation e-mail and verification code.
Your verification code is sent to your e-mail account from our server. You will receive the e-mail if the form is filled out accurately. If you did not receive your verification code you can ask one of our registration coordinators for your verification code.

5. I lost my verification code.
Your verification code was stored by our system and can be retrieved by one of our registration coordinators. Contact one of our registration coordinators for your verification code.

6. Why is my account pending?
Premium content is restricted to our oilfield exploration and production clients, government, university, and E&P consultants. If you tried to register using an e-mail address other than your business or education e-mail address it will be reviewed by one of our registration coordinators as quickly as possible.

7. Why have I been denied access?
The majority of our Web site is public and you are welcome to browse http://www.slb.com. However, premium content is restricted to our oilfield exploration and production clients, government, university, and E&P consultants. Our authentication mechanism requires that applicants register using either a business or academic email account. E-mail address suffixes such as Hotmail, Yahoo, MSN, AOL or other generic addresses are not permitted. If you believe that you have received this message in error contact of our registration coordinators. You will be asked to provide additional information on your company and type of work. If we do not hear from you within five working days, your request for access will be removed from our system.

8. I lost my password.
You may request a new password.

9. I have a new e-mail address.
You can change your e-mail address from the "Manage Your Account" link after you have signed in. If you are unable to sign in or don't have access to your previous e-mail account, please contact one of our registration coordinators or create a new account.

10. I lost my user ID.
Your user ID is your e-mail address.

11. Where do I sign in?
You are only required to sign when you when you encounter a premium content link. The majority of the Schlumberber Web site is open to the public.

12. Is there a way to log in permanently to premium content?
If you configure your Web browser to store cookies from www.slb.com, you will not have to sign in each time you make visits from the same computer and Web browser. For assistance in configuring your browser to accept cookies, visit www.google.com/cookies.htmlExternal link.
