Xtreme Coil Services conveyed 25/8-in coiled tubing into a Schlumberger record 14,770-ft lateral to mill out a plug followed by a perforating gun run. The operation relied on a PLC-controlled electric injector, which delivered the tubing more smoothly in comparison with conventional hydraulic CT units. Xtreme Coil Services milled the plug and completed a tubing-conveyed perforating run in preparation to fracture the first stage.
