Video: Diamondback Composite Drillable Frac Plug

Zonal isolation with minimal risk of presetting and spinning

The Diamondback composite drillable frac plug is designed to isolate zones in vertical, deviated, and horizontal wells during multistage stimulation. A one-way internal check valve is closed with a ball dropped from the surface while the zone above the plug is being fractured. Fluids from below the plug, however, can flow freely through it. The plug is designed to be drilled out quickly into small cuttings that can be easily circulated out of the well. A special taper design at the end of the plug prevents spinning during millout, reducing millout time.
