Alternate water sources are rarely used, and produced water is viewed as a waste that requires transport and disposal when the operation is complete. xWATER integrated water-flexible fracturing fluid delivery service enables 100% reuse of produced water, while reducing or eliminating costs associated with water acquisition, transportation or conveyance, water treatment, and disposal. The service enables operators to use an engineered fracturing fluid customized for the available water, well conditions, and reservoir properties—saving on the water-related costs that can account for up to 25% of the total operation cost. xWATER service collects produced water for reuse in the next fracturing operation. The service can also use any alternate water source, like brackish water or seawater, for the next fracturing operation with no treatment required. This produced or alternate water is then used to fracture subsequent wells, where it has no negative impact on production.
