The CDX compact deoxygenation system is a proprietary, contained, and lightweight seawater deoxygenation technology. Hydrogen is injected into the feedwater before it passes over a catalyst bed, where dissolved hydrogen reacts with dissolved oxygen to produce water for injection into the reservoir.
