Vx* multiphase measurement technology combines an instrumented venturi with a dual-energy fraction meter. This combination measures the total mass flow rate and the fractions of gas, oil, and water, which in turn determine the oil, water, and gas flow rates. Vx technology functions without the need for separation or an upstream mixing device, which minimizes the size and weight of the equipment. The technology has no moving parts and is essentially maintenance-free.
