Five time-lapse seismic surveys have been acquired over the Ekofisk field. Progressive improvements in survey repetition accuracy has resulted in demonstrably higher fidelity time-lapse seismic data. The information obtained from this data is crucial for effective reservoir management and calibration of geomechanical models, leading to greater operational efficiency, higher recovery factors and safer operations.
