XLift High-Pressure Gas Lift
The XLift high-pressure gas lift system lets you complete deepwater or subsea gas lift wells and operate with higher injection pressures and deeper injection points to improve well performance. Valve operating pressures are from 2,000 psi to 5,000 psi. Wells can be completed with fewer mandrels and valves. A robust and reliable positive sealing check valve system replaces the standard systems used in other gas lift valves.
The XLift XLI valve has a patented, edge-welded bellows system developed by Flexial. This new bellows assembly reduces the required internal gas charge while increasing the operating injection pressure. Offshore, you can inject high-pressure gas below the mudline and significantly improve the depth of injection required to maximize drawdown and increase production.
Improve production
The XLift XLI gas valve is entirely subsurface-controlled with no physical linkage to the surface. A venturi flow configuration gives you more efficient and stable gas throughput. A positive check valve eliminates potential leak paths to the casing/tubing annulus. A larger 1.75-in outside diameter improves the valve's geometry.
In the future, as operators extend the natural baseline decline of their assets, drilling programs will continue to go deeper. The higher pressure ratings and deeper points of injection of Xlift systems will be a critical component for working and optimizing production in these environments.
