Artificial Lift Offshore

Subsea Lift Systems

Electric submersible pumps (ESPs), gas lift, seabed boosting, and surface electrical equipment are designed to provide the most economical solution for deepwater or subsea production.

From high-volume, high-horsepower ESPs to high-pressure gas lift systems, Schlumberger has the technology and expertise to perform the gamut of activities required for the complete lift system—from engineering to risk assessment, flow assurance, project management, design, installation, operation, and monitoring. The system includes the surface electrical or compression equipment to flowline and electrical accessories to the completion based on production and reservoir life predictions.

High-Pressure Gas Lift

High-pressure gas lift that enables injection pressure to 5,000 psi and injection rate to 10 Mcf/d. The XLift valve also has a positive seal check valve tested to subsurface safety valve standards, providing an additional barrier downhole. This system allows deeper-set valves and higher drawdown, resulting in higher production rates and longer well life.
