Ultradeepset Safety Valves

Overview Library

For setting depths between 3,000 ft and 15,000 ft

Incorporating the best laboratory and field-proven technologies, our ultradeepset tubing-retrievable safety valves use patented gas-powered actuators with disconnect rod pistons to allow for reduced hydraulic operating pressures. Two redundant hydraulic control systems are provided to increase reliability. These systems are insensitive to tubing pressure and operate at hydraulic control pressures much lower than those required by deepset and conventional subsurface safety valves.

The valves can be positioned below zones of hydrate or paraffin deposits for greater operating efficiency. Used in oil and gas producers and gas or liquid injectors, valves are available for production tubing sizes ranging from 3 1/2 in to 7 in and for working pressures from 5,000 psi to 20,000 psi.

TRC-II Tubing-Retrievable Charged Safety Valve

Deepset and ultradeepset, surface-controlled subsurface valves for working pressures up to 20,000 psi.
