All stimulation vessels adhere to global standards and business processes, which are supported by a central vessel management system (VMS) as well as our vessel engineering, manufacturing, and sustaining organization. Our latest vessels adopt CLEAN class notations, dramatically reducing environmental impact. In addition, all operations personnel receive specific stimulation vessel and marine training.

By 2013, Schlumberger will launch five new DeepSTIM vessels. These high-capacity ships incorporate the latest in marine and stimulation technologies, allowing them to face extreme environments such as the South Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, the North Sea, and deepwater Gulf of Mexico.
When no purpose-built fracturing vessel is available, Schlumberger can deploy FlexSTIM flexible, high-capacity stimulation systems in a rapid time frame. In the last 5 years, we have completed more than a dozen FlexSTIM rigups in areas as diverse as the Arabian Gulf, Caspian Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Indian Ocean, South China Sea, and South Atlantic Ocean.
FlexSTIM Pronto is a modular stimulation system that can be rigged up or rigged down on an offshore supply vessel in as little as 7 days.
