Multiphase Fluid Separators

Skid-Mounted, Vertical, and Horizontal Vessels

Three-phase separator to separate and manage returning fluid on small rigs

The three-phase separator is a vertical vessel to separate and manage returning fluid during MPD and UBD operations on small rigs with limited space. It directs free gas to external vents or flares located safe distances from the rig, routes liquid to degassers for hazardous gas removal, and pumps solids to shakers for cuttings removal.

Rated to 125 psi for gas flow up to 21 MMcf/d and liquid flow up to 15,000 bbl/d, this separator includes two 8-in inlets, a 12-in gas outlet, and 6-in and 8-in drains. Skid-mounted shipping manifolds are available for fluid and solids transfer, pressure relief, and geological sample catching.

Four-phase separator for complete fluid separation, recovery, and management

The four-phase separator is a horizontal vessel for complete fluid separation, recovery, and management during continuous underbalanced drilling operations. It can be configured with drilling and bleedoff manifolds, dual geological sample catchers, and fluid handling equipment for fluid and solids transfer, pressure relief and fluid dump valves, and vertical and horizontal flare stacks.

This separator is rated to 275 psi and can handle up to 34 MMcf/d of gas and 20,000 bbl/d of liquid.
