E-Pulse XR service gives you real-time data without mud pulse telemetry. Electromagnetic waves transmit data through the formation as fast as 12 bps, and lost circulation material won't cause signal loss.

Send commands to the downhole tool in only 30 s. Turn the tool off when it's not needed to optimize battery life and allow long runs.
Reliable performance
High-solids-content drilling fluid doesn't jam the downhole tool. You get reliable direction, inclination, and toolface orientation measurements. Other measurements include gamma ray, stick/slip, collar rpm, and shock measurements.
Measurement flexibility
You can record gamma ray measurements, transmit them in real time, or both. They also can be combined with multiconveyance resistivity measurements, giving you multiple formation resistivity information.
Small-rig operations
Pressure drop is low, and both pump stress and generator fuel consumption are reduced, so you can use a small rig without exceeding its surface pressure equipment's safety limit.
Strong signal
Signal transmission requires no antennas or repeaters, even in deep wells. In some circumstances, signals can be transmitted through the casing. That gives you toolface data before clearing the casing shoe.
