A New Website to Recruit 1000 Engineers and Technicians

Recruitment – Monday 26th January, 2009

The Geoservices* Group, world leader in Mud Logging and N°2 worldwide in the Well Intervention market (oilfield services), plans to recruit 1,000 new engineers and technicians. To support its worldwide communication’s campaign, Geoservices just launched a new website: www.joingeoservices.com

Due to its strong growth, Geoservices has to recruit 1,000 new employees over the coming year and is looking for profiles such as young graduates (engineers and technicians) specialised in geology, physical measurement, chemistry, mechanical and electrical engineering... for their Mud Logging and Well Intervention business segments. Geoservices recruits staff of all nationalities throughout the world, from all countries. International mobility and fluency in English are of course essential requirements.

To meet its recruitment needs, Geoservices has added the www.joingeoservices.com website to its communications media – internal: company magazine, posters, intranet, referral campaign, details of positions to be filled; and external: job boards, recruitment fairs in France and abroad, and advertising in newspapers worldwide.

For Bruno Laforge, VP Human Resources, “Launching a recruitment website on the ‘For adventurers only’ theme is to focus on the ‘adventure’ side of Geoservices’ activities. In addition to adventure, a young engineer starting on an off-shore platform can more rapidly than elsewhere become a project leader, an instructor or transfer to a commercial and management positions.”
