Reserval CF-L Contamination-Free Mud Gas Analysis

Reserval CF-L gas analysis service uses a unique extraction process and fully online anticontamination system to offer reliable detection of the C₁–C₅ components in gas extracted from the drilling mud, independent of drilling conditions and with a short analysis time. The service is especially suitable for challenges such as deepwater environments, cold mud returns, and modern drilling fluids containing complex amines and alcohols, where conventional systems are unable to consistently extract components above C₂.

Efficient and repeatable C₁–C₅ extraction

The service uses the FLEX fluid extractor that heats the drilling mud to a constant temperature and maintains a stable air-to-mud ratio inside the extraction chamber. These features contribute to a very efficient extraction of the C₁–C₅ components for gas ratio analysis. The regulated thermodynamic conditions, independent of environmental factors such as mud temperature, offer the possibility of reproducing the extraction conditions for different wells.
