A complete line is offered of chemical breakers that gently and thoroughly remove filtercakes or residual reservoir drill-in fluid that impede production. Our BREAKDOWN stable breakers work slowly and uniformly and are compatible with formation fluids and completion techniques used.
Unlike many conventional acids and oxidizers, M-I SWACO breaker technologies break down the filtercake evenly to open the entire reservoir. In addition, the chemical characteristics of our breakers minimize the risks of production-restricting downhole corrosion and formation damage. The end result is unrestrained, longer production with lower operating costs and health, safety, and environment (HSE) impact.
