Paraffin system with optimum environmental characteristics

The paraffin-base PARALAND drilling fluid system is designed for optimum land-based disposal of drill cuttings. In addition, this low-toxicity system combines good hole cleaning and superior return permeability with excellent wellbore stability and minimal formation damage into a cost-effective fluid that is ideal for maximizing production in high-angle wells.

The PARALAND system produces cuttings that are suitable for processing and disposal, resulting in lower drilling and disposal costs. Field trials also have shown that the biodegradation characteristics of PARALAND generated cuttings are ideal for processing into fertilizer and other beneficial re-use commodities.
