D-SANDER, D-SILTER, Shaker combo increases solids removal, lowers costs

The M-I SWACO 2-12/8T4 MUD CLEANER provides efficient removal of sand and silt particles larger than 20 microns, and some as small as 15 microns. The 2-12/8T4 system comprises one 1,000-gpm (3,785-Lpm) 2-12 D-SANDER, a 1,200-gpm (4,542-Lpm) 8T4 D-SILTER and one shaker. The D-SANDER and D-SILTER are mounted over the screening surface of the shaker to create the high volume 2-12/8T4 MUD CLEANER.

The 2-12 D-SANDER includes two 12in. (305-mm) diameter polyurethane hydroclones slant mounted over the shaker. Each D-SANDER clone includes four replaceable wear resistant polyurethane sections that are joined together with quick release stainless steel clamps. The D-SANDER is furnished with an 8-in. (203-mm) diameter feed manifold and a 10-in. (254-mm) diameter discharge manifold and a 0-60 psi (4.1-bar) pressure gauge. The D-SANDER also includes a solids discharge trough to distribute the hydroclone underflow evenly onto the screening surface.

The 8T4 D-SILTER includes sixteen 4in. (102-mm) polyurethane hydroclones mounted over the shaker. The D-SILTER is furnished with twin-cone replaceable polyurethane feed and apex sections. The D-SILTER also includes a 6-in. (152-mm) diameter feed manifold, an 8-in. (203-mm) diameter discharge manifold, a 0-60 psi (4.1-bar) pressure gauge and a discharge trough to distribute the hydroclone underflow onto the screening surface.
