Liner-Top Test Tools
These specialized tools are run in the cleanup string to negatively test one or more liners/liner packers all the way to the shoe track. Liner-top test tools scrape the casing to below the integral packer setting area. In addition, they are used to dress off the polished bore receptacle (PBR) at the top of the liner. Tools also are available that effectively cross over one size of pipe to a smaller pipe size inside the liner.
