P-Sections

A WinGLink license supports diverse geophysical disciplines in an integrated modular package. The WG-1 Core Module is a fixed requirement for any package configuration. The remaining modules can be added and combined to meet the data type and features of interest:

WinGLink Main

WG_1 Core Module
Database creation, project generation, coordinate conversion, import/export, mapping, profile construction, printing.
WG_2 Interpreted Views and Montage
Production of composite maps or cross-sections by superimposing maps or sections from different projects in the database. Creates interpreted views with user-defined lithological patterns, imported images, annotations and cultural data to integrate composite maps and cross-sections. Construct printing plates with multiple maps and cross-sections.

Magnetotellurics (MT, AMT, CSAMT)

MT_1 Basic Processing up to 2D smooth inversion
Import sounding datasets, editing, static shifting/stripping, decomposition, TE/TM mode selection, 1D smooth and layered inversion, pseudo-sections, 1D model sections, extraction of resistivity and MT parameter maps, 2D smooth inversion.
MT_2 2D Sharp Boundary Inversion (Requires MT-1)
2D sharp boundary inversion add-on for MT-1 module.
MT_3 Magnetotellurics Tools
TS display and processing, cascade decimation w/ cross-power editor, data analysis.
MT_4 3D Forward Modeling (Requires MT-1)
Construction of a 3D mesh via graphic, interactive editing tools. Import/Export of 3D Meshes. Extraction of depth maps and sections from 3D Mesh using “Maps” and “Cross-Sections” programs. Calculation of MT responses at given stations for display with “Soundings” program; responses at individual stations stored internally or as external EDI files.

Wells

WL_1 Well Basic
Generation of well projects, edit/import well location and courses, , projection of deviated well courses on maps and cross-sections.
WL_2 Well stratigraphy and simplified log data
Import well stratigraphy and log data. Cross-sections showing well stratigraphy using custom-defined lithology patterns and symbols (deviated wells supported). Depth maps and imaged sections of interpolated log data.

Gravity and Magnetics

GR_1 Gravity
Bouguer computation, wavelength filtering, up/downward continuation, polynomial fitting, 2.75D gravity forward modeling
Tools include:
- Gravity reduction for Scintrex and L&R G-meters
- Terrain Corrections
MG_1 Magnetics
IGRF removal, wavelength filtering, reduction to pole, up/downward continuation, polynomial fitting, 2.75D forward modeling

TDEM and Schlumberger Soundings

EM_1 Time Domain Electromagnetic soundings
Import, edit and merge raw data from field dump files (Geonics, Zonge, Sirotem). 1D smooth and layered inversion, pseudo-sections, 1D model sections, extraction of resistivity maps.
DC_1 Schlumberger soundings
Edit sounding datasets, 1D smooth and layered model inversion, pseudo-sections, 1D model sections, extraction of resistivity maps.

Marine CSEM (licensing restrictions apply)

CSEM_1 Basic Processing up to 1D inversion
Import and edit datasets, edit, plot special parameter maps. Pseudo-sections of observed or normalized data. 1D inversion, including anisotropic inversion for CSEM. Extraction of Cross-sections from 1D and 3D models stored or imported in database
CSEM_2 TS-Tools
TS display, calculation of spectra and x-correlation: extraction of data segments. TS Processing and Data Analysis through to MVO/PVO.
CSEM_3 3D Forward modeling
Construction of a 3D mesh via graphic, interactive editing tools. Import/Export of ASCII format 3D Meshes.
Extraction of depth maps and sections from 3D Mesh using “Maps” and “Cross-Sections” programs.
Calculation of forward 3D responses at given stations for display with “Soundings” program; responses at individual stations stored internally or exported as ASCII files.(Requires CSEM-1)
