CPS-3

CPS-3 is a general-purpose mapping system typically used for reservoir characterization projects. CPS-3 is applicable in both exploration and production.

It provides the geologist with early basemaps of well data or contour maps of initial horizon models created from well markers and fault locations. For the geophysicist, CPS-3 provides initial horizon maps created from 2D or 3D interpretation data and fault locations.

For reservoir characterization projects, CPS-3 provides horizon maps merging both types of data simultaneously in time or depth. A standard crosscheck of depth calculation methods can be performed in CPS-3 with its ability to do zonal time-to-depth conversions. CPS-3 also includes volumetric calculations.
