Steady-State Multiphase Flow Simulation (PIPESIM)

PIPESIM is a steady-state, multiphase flow simulator for the design and diagnostic analysis of oil and gas production systems. PIPESIM software tools model multiphase flow from the reservoir to the wellhead. PIPESIM also analyzes flowline and surface facility performance to generate comprehensive production system analysis.

With advanced modeling algorithms for nodal analysis, PVT analysis, gas lift, and erosion and corrosion modeling, PIPESIM software helps you optimize your production and injection operations.

New in PIPESIM 2009

  • Enhanced solving capability for complex flow paths in multilayer wells
  • Enhanced wax deposition modeling and wax sensitivity analysis
  • Enhanced (flow regime-dependent) inside film coefficient
  • New method for shallow or partially buried pipe heat loss
  • Enhanced enthalpy/temperature calculation
  • New rod pump simulation

New interfaces for:

  • Flow correlation/U-regression modeling
  • Ramey’s heat transfer modeling
