Thru-Tubing Joints

Torque Thru knuckle joint

The Torque Thru knuckle joint facilitates centralization and stabilization of the BHA by transmitting motor torque. It is designed to allow full angular movement while preventing axial rotation. The joint features a sealed, unrestricted bore for operating hydraulic tools run below.

Locking swivel joint

The locking swivel joint is designed for deploying long toolstrings. Used in conjunction with a deployment sub, the locking swivel joint allows that toolstring to be lowered into the wellbore and hung off in the blowout preventers on a set of slip rams. It can then be made up to the toolstring. By pulling the coupling back, tightening the screw, and disengaging the clutch, the upper string is ready for makeup.
