iManage

iManage is our proprietary land seismic survey planning and data management software, deployed on WesternGeco seismic crews worldwide. Developed to fully support the UniQ workflow, the iManage package performs source and receiver pre-planning, production planning, and vibrator performance analysis.

For the UniQ system, additional features include ground equipment planning in which cable lengths, bandwidth capacities, and power specifications are taken into account to enable optimum placement of the ground electronics. Full integration with the recording system and vibrator control hardware enables iManage software to define all recording and source parameters. For vibroseis operations, an unlimited number of digital sweeps can be defined and assigned to individual source points. The digital pilots are transmitted to the recording truck as part of the shooting script, and from there to the vibrators, thus ensuring consistent, error-free, dynamic acquisition.
