Fully Braced Acoustic Network

Q-Marine utilizes IRMA transmitters (ITX) units that are spaced at regular intervals down the streamers. The IRMA receivers are individual seismic hydrophones; as such, each seismic hydrophone can be uniquely positioned. A typical network layout (only four streamers) is illustrated at right.
