Stephanie Cox


Stephanie CoxStephanie Cox is president of the NAM region for Schlumberger, based in Houston, TX. Prior to her current assignment, she was the president of the Asia region, located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Stephanie joined Schlumberger in 1991 and was initially based in Houston, Texas, United States. She has held a variety of leadership positions in areas including supply chain, manufacturing, information technology (IT), operations and HR. From 2001 to 2004, she was the company’s global IT manager. From 2004 to 2006 she was HR manager for Schlumberger Oilfield Services, North and South America. From 2006 to 2009 she was vice president of the company’s Gulf of Mexico business unit, where she managed its offshore oilfield services operations. From 2009 to 2014 she was the vice president of HR.

She is a member of the Schlumberger Gender Balance Steering Committee and for many years has sponsored Connect Women, a network run by and for women in Schlumberger to obtain and provide guidance on careers, discuss concerns and help the company understand specific issues affecting women. Stephanie holds a B.A. in Materials Management from Michigan State University. She joined the board of the Schlumberger Foundation in 2011 to support the Foundations charter of supporting women’s education in advanced science and engineering which will in turn provide mentorship and role models for future generations of women.
