Rajeev Sonthalia

Rajeev Sonthalia is president of digital & integration, where he’s been since July 2020. Before his current role, Rajeev was the president of integrated performance management. In his 30-year career at SLB, he’s held various management positions, including head of marketing & corporate strategy, vice president of reservoir characterization in the eastern hemisphere, president of integrated drilling services, president of production management, and president of Asia Pacific.

Rajeev began his career with SLB in 1992 as a wireline field engineer in India, and since moved on to several operations management positions, including vice president of well construction and intervention. His work brought him to many different countries, living in China, India, Kuwait, the United Kingdom, and the United States. 

Rajeev holds a master’s degree in business administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a bachelor’s degree in physics from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay. He’s also had executive education at University of California, Berkeley.
