COLOSSUS UNC
Uncemented liner hanger system
Simplify liner deployment in nontraditional completions such as slotted liners, screens, multistage stimulation, and steam injection.
The retrievable cement bushing (RCB) is composed of a body with locking lugs and interior and exterior seals. It sits in a machined profile in the liner setting adapter, liner top packer, or profile sub. The recess on the polished OD setting tool slick joint allows retrieval of the RCB with the setting tool.
Features include full-circle locking lugs for optimal pressure resistance and small piston area to reduce forces on the workstring during circulation and cementing operations.
The RCB is optimized for use with the COLOSSUS CMT cemented liner hanger system and COLOSSUS UNC uncemented liner hanger system. It provides pressure integrity from the workstring to the liner toe. It remains in position throughout the running and cementing operations and enables pressure testing of liner top packers after they are set.
The system also enhances cementing operations and wellbore stability because the packoff ensures circulation of all cement behind the liner.
