Designed to facilitate remedial cementing and well abandonment operations in cased hole wells, the BluePlug Max CMR high-pressure wireline- or tubing-set cement retainer creates a barrier to enable cement injection and ensure accurate cement placement while preventing flowback.
To maximize reliability, an internal sliding valve provides pressure integrity from above and below, enabling you to perform a positive pressure test before pumping cement.
Based on field-proven designs, the BluePlug Max CMR cement retainer reduces the risk of failure with added features such as the sliding valve, antipreset slips, and full-scale testing for V3 validation. The modular, cast iron construction ensures enhanced lifetime stability and then reduced drillout times.
Plugs are available in API quality grades Q1, Q2, and Q3.
