The ProFire programmable firing head uses hydromechanical technology to precisely control gun firing time when multiple operations are performed under pressure. Its design prevents inadvertent or premature activation of the hydraulic firing head during operations. Regulated by an actuator that determines the number of pressure cycles used to fire the guns, the ProFire head is fully adjustable and reliable.
The ProFire head consists of two main assemblies. The hydraulic programmable actuator tool controls the operating pressure rate and level and the number of pressure cycles that can be applied before firing. The hydraulic delay firing module head incorporates the delay mechanism and firing sections and is used to ensure the correct firing time when the desired underbalanced pressure is reached.
