Risk evaluation for gas control migration

CEMENTICS Gas Migration Analysis module software is designed to evaluate the risk severity of gas migration based on the pressure decay limit (measurement of how far the cement slurry setting process will advance before hydrostatic pressure decreases below reservoir pressure, allowing gas to migrate into the annulus).

The Gas Migration Analysis module offers a detailed evaluation using data from CEMENTICS zonal isolation software, as this module is integrated in the zonal isolation software package.

When multiple gas zones are being evaluated, the software automatically defines global severity risk based on the zone with the highest risk level. Once the risk is assigned, Schlumberger engineers make risk reduction recommendations: placement process design, pumping schedules, and the appropriate slurry and additives.

The Gas migration software recommends solutions adapted to each risk level and temperature range.
