Jiskoot laboratory mixing system
Remedies the separation of a sample into its components prior to analysis
Applications
- Onsite sample mixing
Benefits
- Loop for ensuring thorough sample mixing
- Keyed connectors to prevent operator errors
Features
- Driven pneumatically or by electric pump
- Direct deposit of sample into laboratory glassware or analyzers
- Interfacing with other sample receivers
- Optional septum to draw off sample with syringe
How it improves performance
In a sample receiver, heavier components—such as water—separate. To ensure that the sample withdrawn for analysis is representative, the contents must be thoroughly mixed. The MS53 Jiskoot™ laboratory mixing system is connected to a sample receiver and samples may be drawn from a takeoff valve or through an optional septum. The MS53 can also be supplied in a heated enclosure for temperature-critical oils.
