Gulf of Mexico Perdido Fold Belt

Advanced reimaging solutions and full-azimuth acquisition

WesternGeco texture hero

Develop the best strategy for exploration, appraisal, and development of the Perdido Fold Belt by using our advanced reimaging solutions combined with FAZ acquisition. With better understanding of the complex subsurface challenges, you can make confident decisions during the coming bid rounds and beyond.

Perdido reimaging

The Perdido reimaging program ties the US GOM Alaminos Canyon protraction area to the offshore Mexico Perdido area by incorporating 36,000 km2 of reimaged data—combining our portfolio of existing WAZ data, additional narrow-azimuth (NAZ) data, and broader US GOM data. This integration provides high-quality and cost-effective understanding of the Perdido Basin offshore Mexico using the latest processing workflows and imaging technologies.

Perdido FAZ

Perdido FAZ acquisition is a model-driven, state-of-the-art solution for subsurface imaging designed to minimize exploration risks and accelerate the appraisal cycle in the large and high-potential Perdido Basin. By extending our unique experience in the US GOM to the Mexico GOM, we have designed a survey that provides the best imaging of the complex subsalt structures in this area.
