Background
Previous operations performed by Petroamazonas to sidetrack out of 9 5/8-in P-110 casing required two trips. After deploying an integrated Schlumberger sidetracking system, a 12-ft window and 11 ft of rathole were drilled in a single run, resulting in a high-quality window with minimal wear on the mill. The integrated solution generated a high-quality window in 10.5 hours while minimizing premature wear of mills.
