Conventional- and gas-spring designs for 3,000 ft to 6,000 ft

As the search for hydrocarbons goes deeper and challenges increase, knowledge acquired through years of experience has enabled our experts to develop surface-controlled subsurface safety valves that meet these new demands.

Options for a range of hydraulic operating pressures

Modified versions of the conventional spring-type designs provide higher closing forces to offset the higher hydrostatic pressure in the control line; they also require higher hydraulic operating pressures. Gas-spring designs using patented gas-powered actuators with disconnect rod pistons are insensitive to tubing pressure and offer alternatives for lower hydraulic operating pressures.

Tubing- and wireline-retrievable safety valves for depths between 3,000 ft and 6,000 ft are available for oil and gas producers and for gas or liquid injectors. Production tubing sizes ranging from 2 3/8 in to 7 in and working pressures from 5,000 psi to 15,000 psi can be accommodated.

TRC-II Tubing-Retrievable Charged Safety Valve

Deepset and ultradeepset, surface-controlled subsurface valves for working pressures up to 20,000 psi.

TRMAXX Surface-Controlled Subsurface Safety Valve

TRM-4 Tubing-Retrievable, Surface-Controlled Safety Valve

Premium rod piston flapper valve for working pressures up to 10,000 psi, with an optional side-mounted equalizing system.

SlimTech Reduced-OD, Tubing-Retrievable, Surface-Controlled Safety Valve

Subsurface safety valves for conventional, high-rate gas, and deepset installations.
